Minimum Google Ads Budget by Industry: 2025 Guidelines

From February 5 to May 25, 2025, Focus Digital analyzed over 150 Google Ads campaigns to determine the minimum monthly ad spend required for meaningful performance across major industries. Our goal was to identify the point at which advertising budgets become sufficient to enter competitive auctions, generate impressions and clicks consistently, and provide enough data for optimization algorithms to function effectively.

Many marketers underfund campaigns in highly competitive verticals, failing to meet the necessary spend to drive results. This report adjusts for geographic competitiveness, average CPCs, and daily search volumes, offering tailored benchmarks.
